The role:
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Executive to play a key role in raising Joelson’s profile, supporting client growth and delivering standout events and campaigns across the firm. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, gain exposure across a wide range of practice areas and have real scope to shape and grow the firm’s marketing activity.

Main Purpose of the role:
The main objectives are:
1. Assist the Director of BD & Marketing and Senior Marketing & BD Manager in delivering the firm’s marketing strategy across campaigns, digital, events and partnerships, to drive client acquisition and retain existing clients.
2. Maximize and track marketing campaigns, and organise events to drive new prospects into the firm and/or retain existing clients.
3. Drive brand awareness to raise the firm’s profile and increase instructions from existing clients.
4. Maximize value from the firm’s partnerships, events and the firm’s existing networks.
5. Improve internal comms to increase employee engagement.
Hours:
9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility required outside those times on occasion. We are working in a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days within the office. There is 1 designated team day within the office per week and 1 firmwide day in the office per month.
The opportunity:
Marketing strategies are extremely important for our firm’s success, so your role will play a crucial role in achieving our goals.
This is a full mix marketing role with a strong equal focus on events and digital marketing and there is scope to progress within the team. This role reports to the Senior BD & Marketing Manager and key responsibilities are:
Events Management: assisting with in-house events, including drafting invites, setting up event registration pages and arranging logistics prior event and on the day.
Partnerships: collaborating with the team to maximise the ROI and benefits from the firm’s partnerships programme including coordination of the administrative elements, including arranging corporate merchandise and team attendance.
Design & Communications: creating marketing collateral such as event invitations, flyers and brochures, producing e-marketing campaigns (internal and external newsletters).
Website: managing and updating our website and intranet ensuring content is accurate and engaging. Recommend developments to maintain and improve our presence across these platforms to optimise user experience, monitoring SEO and SEM.
CRM: championing the effective use of the firm’s CRM system (NEXL).
Proposals & presentations: drafting and designing ad-hoc pitches and presentations.
Social media: design, grow and maintain our social media presence on LinkedIn, including drafting social posts and maintaining a social media calendar.
Other:
Measuring, analysing, and reporting performance/engagement of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals.
Working closely with the HR team to support on recruitment platform, adverts and other related marketing initiatives.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.

Technical knowledge & experience of SEO and Google Analytics. (Desirable)
Familiarity with web design, optimising landing pages and user funnels. (Desirable)
Strong IT skills, with experience in:
Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator) (Essential)

Other:
Experience working in a law firm or professional services firm. (Desirable)
